Jake Aspey Creative Freelancer

Jake Aspey is a creative who has been at the forefront of the youth and parent marketing space.

As the Creative Producer and Head of Production at Rocket, an award-winning youth and parent marketing agency. His main duties covered everything from ideation to execution to delivery. Managing a team of freelancers, creating briefs, TOV documents, H&S, and quality control of all content going out of the business.

Other duties leaned on a lot of Jake’s past experiences in the audio and content creator worlds. He was the producer and engineer of the industry podcast, Rocket Fuel. He built guides full of tips, tricks, and checklists for the network of content creators that Rocket would partner with. Jake was always striving to be at the beginning of content technology, learning to create social AR filters for TikTok and Snapchat and diving headfirst into the world of “Metaverse” sandbox UGC content on platforms such as Fortnite, Roblox, and META Horizons. Jake also helped keep the team up to date with trends and niches on the internet with his “chronically online” attitude. Jake has been a content creator for over 15 years.

Before the word content creator was even a thing, Jake had been making and helping make things all over the internet. His current world sits in the live streaming communities on Twitch, where he is also the founder and co-ordinator of a philanthropic stream team for Stand Up To Cancer. Built of over 100 content creators from around the world and on every major social media platform, over the last 4 years, they have raised around $375,000 to help fight against the world’s greatest disease.

Jake's portfolio extends across some of the world's biggest brands, where his work extends to videography, photography, editing, pre and post-production, producing, directing, AR Social filters, podcast production & editing, sound design and music production.

Jake is also the Founder/Manager of the record label for 'musicians of the internet', We're Not Just Cats Records, where he has been helping musicians around the world create and produce their latest hits. He is also often found floating around the internet talking about LEGO, games, and internet culture under the name Jake Studs.
